We answered a lot of questions yesterday. We came from behind and won. After an obvious b*llocking at HT we came out and upped the tempo and were much better. First half we were laboured in our approach play second half the first goal illustrated how effective we can be when we move the ball quickly. We scored a goal at the near post must have been watching Man City:)

At 1-1 a brilliant last ditch tackle from Wright kept the scores level and they were still in it until Duffy opened them up for the second then they fell away.

At HT yesterday there was a feeling has the bubble burst, after the break we showed when we have our best midfield playing together we can match anyone in this division if we keep the intensity up. The Kop were brilliant second half and you could feel the ball being sucked into the net.

More than fair assessment agree with all that,I thought Wright was worth more but other than that another good write up DB

so underrated is jake wright another brilliant game imo first half we sat too deep and played too many square balls second half absolutely sensational

Not a bad pick for our first visit to BDTBL this season, great report as ever DB - always seem to score at least three when we get down from Newcastle these days. On top of that I filled up the hole in my programme collection with the last copy of the UTC programme in the club shop when it's going for £20 on eBay. Finally we had to wait till today for my lad's acco (he's nearly 40) last result, picking first the mighty Blades, then Celtic, Bradford City, Atletico Madrid, Paris St' Germain and having to wait till this afterrnon to see Hoffenhem beat Cologne 3-0 away. Bradford was a last minute change of mind 'cos we were going to go for Colchester to beat Oxford City, which is just as well 'cos they lost.

All in all not a bad day, but how did Clarkey miss that sitter?! UTB
