Agreed Mick....we needed two midfield options, an attacking midfield and a grind it out option but despite which midfield option we employed we needed some pacy, put fear into the opposition strikers. I know the so called "big" boys will get the big names but there are proven goalscorers, and Defoe was one of them.

The problem lies with to many old or average player that's it , will they get replaced anyone's guess.
