Brian and their like are only put forward for the entertainment and irritant value. If half the listeners are laughing at them, and the rest are shouting abuse at their radios, then its job done. Filling in a lack of news and good quality journalism with the opinions of idiots. God bless the BBC..!

I'd say there's more like me FKB that don't bother I haven't listened to it for yrs it's really gone down the pan on the odd occasion it's on when I'm in the car it usually lasts less than a minute

Instead of Rob Staton saying how ridiculous his statement was and telling people to ignore, it, how about just not putting the drunken old fool on air and letting the more interesting callers like Ken " Thanks Trevor" , he gave me a lift Rob. :)

If there has been such a dramatic fall in listeners as you claim surely they'd stop doin the fone in(certainly wunt do it every day except Sunday) wunt they? UTCB

Brian the ‘Blade’ will have been sat next to the phone praying that we didn’t equalise so he could ring the show and spout his drivel.

He’s the phone in equivalent of Len.

They need something to fill in after Dreary Pressman and then over to Radio Leeds. It's been there for years and they don't want to shock their 150 listeners by saying goodbye.

This puts a new perspective on it. When we won the league at a canter last season with a very impressive 100 points then went on to thrash Wednesday and beat Leeds, topping the Championship on occasion, I hadn't realised this was all masterminded by a man who didn't have a brain! Think what we could have achieved if he had one!

In reality of course Chris Wilder arguably has a football brain that makes him one of the top three English managers at the moment and I constantly worry that despite his allegiances someone will make him an offer he can't refuse because of his remarkable track record and undoubted ability.
