Can't have enough police for me BT, but what's the point of more police if they won't let them do their job by cutting back on stop and search in London ? How can you explain the fact that the crime figures fell for several years earlier this decade, despite a continuing year on year fall in police numbers ? What use are more police if the courts aren't going to bang criminals up because the prison service can't cope ?
And doesn't it prove my point that this shambolic government is by no means a Conservative one in any meaningful way ? They might have appropriated the name, but real Tories don't go soft on crime, defence, or cut police numbers. Maggie would be turning in....etc. etc.
It seems strange to me that Corbyn is more pro-police numbers than the Tories...
