I can hear the gruesome twosome tapping away on their keyboards saying we already have the 20 mill striker. I dont think hes the answer for us with Rafa in charge. And I'd rather have Rafa over Mitro. Even if he gets the golden boot that wont change.

Considering he's never hit anywhere near the form he showed for us in that half season he was here and even with the inflated transfer fees since then, how on earth is he worth £20M? What did we pay and then recoup - £12, £13M or thereabouts?

You know, it's a simple case of this:
If We buy Townsend again then I'll have to support him and hope he gives us maximum effort and commitment.
I personally don't want him here and if I had my way he wouldn't get anywhere near a Newcastle team in any capacity.

I'd be well gutted if we have to pay 20 million for him, though.

Exactly this. REALLY don't want him here but if he comes there's nowt to do but support him.

Also agree 20 is too much for Townsend. I'd say 15 is about right. I also think we could get mote than 20 for Mitro.
