Pingel was well before Sheppard and Hall.
Wise was brought in by Ashley so that feck up was down to Ashley not Sheppard.
Every team has bought well and bought sh1te.

Rondon has been proper gash at WBA and must be praying to the gods of mediocrity to push a move the will make him millions.

He has to improve beyond belief to make him worth the effort .

I'd say on the whole Ketsbia was a success. Ran up cul de sacs a lot but better than anything we have now. Guivarch and even Owen on paper looked a good shout at the time, Tomason was a good player as he proved later on and IMO didn't get enough time with us. I grant you the rest.

I also remember Silvio Maric arrived highly touted.

But at least all these signings showed intent, ambition and a bit if excitement..

Rondon makes me want to barf every time I read his name.

And that's the point. There will always be bad signings in retrospect...it's worse when you know it's bad before they even sign for you.
