The fact that Semple is saying good things about his time at Palmerston has to be beneficial to Queens. Hopefully The Blades' management team will take this on board and possibly send another youngster out on loan to the Supersouth in future.

A striker this window would be a good start
well our manager has started the window off in the right way acting quickly in getting mcguire and low in ,and he talks about a few more in his interviews ,so keep it going and get them in while the decent ones are still available ,id rather sign none than a couple of dregs at the backend .
Just spotted that Callum Semple has signed on a permanent basis for Ross County. Now that is a blow and a great acquisition for one of our rivals.
With Brownlie coming back we were probably never in the market for a long term deal. It's just a pity he has now signed a long term deal with a rival club. I should imagine it may well turn out to be a good investment for them with a potential sell on profit to be had.
Surprised and disappointed.
Surprised Sheffield United released him after doing very well and disappointed it's to a rival club. Could he have done better?
Looks like we would have been well within a shout of signing him if we could have offered him a decent deal.
I am surprised Sheffield Utd let him go also
A move to Ross County with a real chance of plenty of games and Premier League football next year makes a lot of sense rather than L1 in England not playing many games.
At his age it is all about playing as many games as possible.
Let’s be honest, he will be on a tidy wage up there and it’s a good place to make your start in the game.
Semple moving there shows up our limitations financial wise.
