The lad Cardiff had, would be a much better Gamble IMO than Philips from Leeds.
Different players but Philips passing range is very good and he’s also very efficient at breaking up play, I think Cambaras is more flair style player
The thing about Philips is the big boys will want him eventually , I believe Spurs had enquired already , if he comes and performs we’d make money on the deal eventually plus he’s English and Dyche likes that.
It would be interesting as I think Bielsa has built his team- formation around this lad could Dyche do the same ? Bielsa trusts him to stop other teams in a holding role and distribute the ball - the premier league is a different animal however I think this is a good gamble for us I’d like to see it happen.
I like the lad and equally think he would be a good gamble but don't believe this will go further if they dont want Vydra , if they are looking for 30M as I cant see us wanting to pay that.
As much he is considered a defensive midfielder , can see him being equally comfortable playing further forward with passing ability and composure on the ball.
