Has anyone watched Motherfatherson? It was a series on BBC2 with Richard Gere as the owner of some newspapers.
It was an interesting watch based roughly on the happenings of the real life press.
I wouldn't even look at a newspaper today, I rarely believe what's on the news and I certaianly see through the clap trap spouted by the so called experts!
I just had the grave misfortune of trying to find this on The Sun's website. Eventually did and concur with the others that dragging this up after 30 years is nothing more than a money grab exercise both on the part of the storyteller and the paper. However, when compared to the other stories on their website (Woman realises why her feet hurt after wearing shoes on the wrong feet all night, Men coping with the stress of having big willies....) at least it's a fairly well written piece.
The Sun might have opened the batting but the BBC appear to be scoring runs off the story
The Sun is a vile rag and Sun reader is an oxymoron
Just like the Labour party they too sold out the north. The paper used to be the Manchester Guardian and was published there.
Then the paper discovered that there were more gullible sheep in the south, changed its name and editorial style to “evolve’ into the lie sheet we have now
The only paper worth reading is the Tizer
