Gina Miller - Supreme Court

I don't care that these disgusting, arrogant and self centred parliamentarians make themselves look fools before the rest of the world but I do object to the fact that they are doing it to our country. They will go down as the worst group of individuals in the history of our parliament and one of our posters summed it up superbly when he said ' Where is Guy Faulkes when we need him?'

I saw the bloke who’s behind Guido Fawkes interviewed on the BBC alongside that irritating Owen Jones. You can You Tube it but he really put Jones in his place.

That Kevin Maguire from the Daily Mirror is another t w a t,he was so rude and arrogant towards Andrew Pierce on the SKY newspaper talk last night.

I have a nasty feeling that the Supreme Court ruling will go against Boris. There have been so many ‘establishment’ figures lining up against him and nobody arguing for his side, I will be surprised if the Court goes against the ‘Establishment’. I hope they don’t, though, because Boris is the only one offering any solution to the Brexit problem. Corbyn is now saying that he would hold a second referendum with the options of his deal (which he doesn’t have) or Remain. LibDems are now saying that if they are in power they will just revoke Article 50! Now whilst I believe that remaining in the EU would be best for the country, you really shouldn’t be ignoring half the electorate (slightly more than half) who voted Leave. Any ‘deal’, unless it is a ‘have your cake and eat it’ deal, is nowhere near as good as being in the EU and is not really leaving either, so the alternative is a no-deal Brexit. We won’t get a ‘have your cake and eat it’ deal, so realistically, it is either leave with no deal or remain. As I have said, although I believe Remain is best, the behaviour of the ‘remain’ side of Parliament has been appalling and brought the country into more disrepute, I have to say now that I hope Boris gets it done, without any fudge of a ‘deal’.

I Think your right KB, there is only two options, no deal or remain , the Europeans can’t agree to a good deal for us , because others will want to leave the EU , I would never advocate democracy being ignored, but no deal is a real worry , much cleverer people than me say we will be worse off with non deal , if that’s what happens and it goes very wrong . I feel a “I told you so” may well be an inadequate response. COYB

An excellent post. I fully agree with you that Boris is struggling with the Supreme Court as I've always been of the opinion that the establishment is pro-remain. I respect anybody who voted to remain although I am in the opposite camp. What I am appalled at, as you so rightly point out, is the disgusting and undemocratic behaviour of remain parliamentarians from all parties who are bringing this country into disrepute with their behaviour. I'm convinced that they will reap their reward at the ballot box.
