I can see how a player would be fit enough to play golf and not fit to play football indeed it could even help him build his fitness until he could do running etc. so wouldn't slate a player for that to be fair.

He's 25, so he's not "good potential" and he wasn't when we signed him at the age of 24, he's heading into the best years of his career so should be hitting the goals everyone thinks he can get
I honestly don't see where the hype is around this bloke, he's nowhere near as good as people think and if Hull bid us money back for him snap their hands off.

I’m told that both Cocu, and Lampard before him, were much more irritated by the amount of time spent in his business interest than on the golf course which - depending on the injury - may well, as MA says, have made no difference or even been beneficial.
