Even if he’d not put a penny after his initial purchase but instead put in place a decent structure of people who know football - proper CEO, proper commercial manager etc. they would’ve maximised the income, used the TV money well and had decent managers & coaching structure from first team to academy. The club would’ve continued to be an established PL club, probably never have got relegated and would’ve been worth a lot more than it is now. The idiot could’ve sold it and made a massive profit but instead, he’s got involved, took the pÃ*ss and has run it into the ground. I reckon even with all the money he’s made either blatantly or by stealth, he would’ve made more if he’d run the thing properly both with the profits on an ongoing basis and the eventual sale price.
