You know what....I respect all who post here, (despite the fact that they are wrong if they disagree with me!), and I accept that once or twice I have "flounced". But I am here, no matter how much sh1t gets thrown my way, or how "divergent" my views might be, or to what extent the sh1t gets thrown because of that divergence. I'm a Leeds supporter, and no amount of insult, criticism, sh1t-throwing etc etc will stop me from being that most endangered of species. So why do others who may have been on the forum longer than I, but who are unlikely to have supported Leeds for as long as I have (Away to Burnley, 19th October 1968, we lost 5 - 1) get such wonderful treatment?
I wish Rev would continue to post, and others, but is all that conditional on us all engaging in some virtual back-slapping exercise when if we were down the Peacock it would be fair game to have a few pints and bit of "active debate"!
Had my share of sh1t thrown at me, and those who have thrown it probably thought it was justified, but I am still posting. does that make me extra thick skinned, stupid, or what. (And the answer is perhaps indicative of what thus forum will be).
And for the record, genuinely my most heartfelt wish would be that t-bird would post again, if he can.
