I like the 'it was alleged' bit at the end, so not factual then just allegations. And the Queen 'lobbied' ministers, ffs what's the point of a monarch who has to lobby anyone, you have to feel for Brenda, a proper Queen would have told them what to do, and if they didn't do it, they'd be in the Tower at Her Majesties Pleasure for the duration. When I left home and became a citizen here in Israel ,I had left money in the Midland Bank. But as the years pasted I almost forgot about it. Much later I had the opportunity to go back and stay with my brother ,and at the same time, to ask, and withdraw all my money in the bank ,I was holding my account book. Asking for my money I was told 'but that person has died ( and the money has gone to the duchy of Lancaster, the Queens private estate!
If someone has took my money with an automatic rifle, or a bang of sweets I call that stealing!!! What other name is it ? I am by no means a fan of the royal family. However, if as you suggest BT getting rid of the queen as head of state who would replace her, President Boris perhaps or I believe there is an American who is current out of work and has some experience in that field.
Personally I would leave well alone, there is nothing wrong with Liz.
