Champions or Runners up, set the bar high.
If you don't look for top two when competing then it's not worth bothering.
This last season in the Championship should stand the players in good stead and the experience they gained even though we failed. ( The one's that will still be with us ).
Perhaps time to give Joshua Kayode a chance, at least while January.
Could all come down to loan players to improve the squad.
Ask again at the end of July.

Mid table or upwards would be okay if we have to have a major makeover.... if not then nothing less than the play offs would be deemed a failure
We should have ready made replacements for any outgoing player and having learnt lessons of underselling in the past ,I expect us to be much more professional in that department this time.With the majority of the squad we have,I can see us being up there at the top and with the right incoming players we can do it.
