HAHAHAXDXDXD Fair enough to them mate we treally should have scored a few more goals but realise we were trying out young guys and trying to get things ready for league while still trying to qualify so hopefully get them next round :)

It really is unfair. As you say Brian, teams are trying out kids, different formations, fringe players etc etc. Basically pre season games but also a national cup competition. We keep hearing about teams down south devaluing the league cup by playing weakened teams but our very own SPFL are devaluing their own cup competition by having it played pre-season.
In a way mate I kind of like it I have always thought friendlies are a waste of time.Like the league cup sections as really we should although don't always qualify and gives players good game time but not so hard a premier class kind of easy way into league matchs. It's kind of up to each team how serious they take it but should help tam seeing players in compeditive matchs. On the other hand agree with you we are devaluing the cup by playing weakened teams so am kind of split on it.
The last time they were the 6th best team in Scotland they invaded the pitch. If only eh could get as worked up as them.I would have been on that pitch at Dens loads O times and graced Hampden twice.
I suppose it was a fair price to pay,£23,000,000 for a top six finish and a cup final defeat fae your big cousins.
I like the group format in July, just not a fan of the way they have been handing out 3-0 wins, very unfair on other teams, 1-0 is enough in this kind of format
Its only worked against us if Hearts & St Mirren win by enough to push us out of the seeds. Even then as a non seed we could draw Dundee or St Johnstone at home. As a seed we could be drawn away to Motherwell or Livi. Possibly seeding wont make a difference, maybe it will who knows?
