I seriously think anyone using Junction 1 is looking for an excuse to actually miss the game.
There isn’t a single good reason to use that junction unless you’re arriving 90 minutes to 2 hours before a game.
Driving down to junction 2 or even three even if you’re coming from the north is the much better bet.
If on on your next trip you’re tempted to come off at junction 1 simply smash your head against your dashboard and then stick your testicles out of the drivers window and put the window up as far as it’ll go.
This should shake you out of that ridiculous mindset.
