There is a big difference between Islay and Isla.
The island of Islay is the southern most island of the Inner Hebrides whilst Isla is part of Glen Isla. https://getoutside.ordnancesurvey.co...len-isla-angus
Do not worry the people I worked beside used to think that the island of Islay was ‘up north’ despite me telling them on numerous occasions that the Island of Islay was west of Kintyre and due west of Glasgow.

I assume that you are the same person who was sitting at the next table to me at the Player of the Year dinner in the Invercarse Hotel in May 2019.
I assume you don't pay attention, you have asked before,on numerous occasions, and I have answered numerous times.
I suspect you know the answer, and was the reason you corrected your lie when I asked whether you had returned to Isla (y) during covid travel restrictions. You answered that you were in Dundee, then posted again saying Islay because you knew I knew the answer before I asked the question
I was in Dundee from the start of the first lockdown on 23rd March 2020 until 16th July 2020 when the lockdown restrictions had been relaxed.
However during that period the SNP MP Margaret Ferrier travelled back to Glasgow from London despite having tested positive for Coronavirus. The Chief Medical Officer for Health in Scotland Catherine Calderwood travelled on two separate occasions during the first lockdown to her holiday home in Elie in breach of the lockdown rules at that time.
She would have got away with it if someone had not reported her to a national newspaper.
