I have heard several stories of Range Rover unreliability but in general, I think that the biggest problem with them is who is behind the steering wheel. I’m not suggesting that all RR drivers are bad but so many of them are really arrogant, especially those with ego plates.
Years ago, I used to work for Rover-Triumph, as it was then, and I can confidently claim to be the first Range Rover driver to be stopped for speeding, 90 mph on the M1, on the day the vehicle was launched! Yes, maybe I was also the first of the aforementioned type of driver above! I’m very well behaved now, though……..
