That's your goalkeeping spot booked then Leics, especially after Johnstone looks likely to go in January. I was hoping that Regis and 123 would help us out as well because we need a good left winger!

Couldn't agree more Al , I do believe the other players played for Big Sam & the only reason I believe he walked away was they wouldn't back him in the transfer market , if we had him now we wouldn't be where we are in the league now , & i think he would have gone along way of keeping our loan players we had last year, going nowhere with Val & his style of **** play I'm convinced of that , & if money were made available would anybody trust him to bring in the right player or would a better quality player come & play for him I doubt it very much .

Your comments about Fat Sam Johnny are spot on! Why would he have stayed with zero spend - the guy is not stupid!

It's why the club paid £2m to get Val. Nobody can play expansive football with this squad.
The fault isn't with Val it's with Lai.
If Val had a quality squad and he played this way I would slate him, but he hasn't.
The reason he doesn't have a plan B is because what would plan B be? Playing out from the back with Bartley? Big Dave tried that with a better team.

You are so right Des!!! Look at Big Dave’s team compared to this squad now and it’s worrying as not one player is Premier class!!

Plan B is Zohore and the academy players if still some left after many of them went to Villa!

I played centre forward (South Birmingham Sunday League) and scored a few including a hat trick of headers. On a Saturday I played full back and then centre half (captain). I was always very slow, generally pretty c rap but very popular and dead keen.
