I don't think the Manager of the Month curse really exists. The club that wins it is in a great run of form that's unsustainable over the season, otherwise they would win the league by 30 points. A downward trend is usually inevitable. It's a bit like the current form table, which isn't so much 'current form' as 'recent past form'.

It's particularly pleasing as many rightly feared the tough ​looking set of fixtures in October for Notts.

I certainly didn't expect quite such a points haul for that month. Now this is the opportunity to look back and congratulate the IB, his backroom team and of course the players :)
They better not let it slip (in the league) in November!!!
