Which millers player past or present has got the best tackle?

Guy Branston had a decent tackle on him but it rarely involved getting the ball XD

I seem to recall Paul Stancliffe was fairly adept at timely tackles but that's a long time ago so I'm probably wrong.

I'd go with Gerry too. No mess like with the tough tacklers, just a forensic stretch of the leg and he'd come away with the ball. Lovely player. Prob my all time hero as a kid.

Many may not notice but Mattock can make a solid tackle when called upon but one in the middle for me was Kevin Watson, solid and resolute a great player and Captain.

Trevor Swift was my boyhood hero.
