Last summer I was really impressed with the driving from North Yorkshire upwards towards the coast and North East.
Great Lane discipline, indicating, not a single boy racer on my various journeys and people sticking to the limits.
Such enjoyable driving compared to the Midlands in general.
Back to women......they lack awareness, special awareness and the way they stop dead at traffic islands and on slip roads does my f u c k I n head in.
Reactive rather than proactive and ponderous as hell.
My wife is good driver, but when she is the passenger she thinks she is my driving instructor.

I try not to be too harsh on her though as she lost her brother at 17 in a crash in which he was driving.
I think this had a massive effect on how steady she drives.
I thought I was a decent enough driver. Very sound technically. Unfortunately I was very impatient. And I had a very, very bad temper.
When impatience and temperament kicked in I became a bad driver. A very aggressive driver. I would switch from good driver to bad in the bat of an eyelid.
When my knee started locking up whilst driving I took this as a cue to stop. Didn't even bother with an automatic.
My temperament isn't as bad as it was and I'm thinking of getting back behind the wheel. Be afraid people. Just saying 😊 .
