This would make sense, given the Bruce connection. And I do actually rate him, but he's 31 and likely to be on decent wages.

According to the local Berkshire news, its out of Hourihane or Swift who we sign. I don't know Swift as well, but I do know he's 26. Jed Wallace is 28. Surely we need to be going for younger players?

Swift and Wallace are in their prime and proven superb players at this level. Get both and we're promotion contenders. Get one and we'll improve a lot. They are the best free players out there for a club that won't spend a lot this summer. It would be nice to see us have a reduced squad and blood a few youngsters.
