IB did get to give input, well that’s what he said and I don’t think there’s any reason not to believe it. This approach happens a lot more up and down the leagues now whether they are manager or coach. I don’t think Notts will be that surprised he has turned us down as he’s clearly on a good journey with them and they have rewarded him for that.
Mmm must be slightly concerning for the owners that we can’t prise a part time teams manager away from them. Maybe the compo put us off? With Wootton going and this news, not a good day.
Haven’t renewed mine yet either.
Altrincham have just gone full-time and apparently their manager was a big advocate for it, so I understand why he's turned notts down. I don't its so much to do with notts not being good enough, but more of his loyalty to a project he's put a lot of work into at Altrincham.Quote:

Mike Williamson looks a better bet to me but whether he fits their so far failed ethos is another matter.
