It is a bit pricy Chris, most English wines are, but I've poured enough £5 rubbish down the sink in my lifetime that I don't mind paying a bit more now. I'm drinking more and more English wine, especially the sparkling stuff which they can't call Champagne. Sadly, despite all my efforts when we lived in France, to persuade her that Crémant De Limoux was an acceptable substitute, Mrs S has become an expert on Bubbly, a serious expert, and she tells me, and all our French friends, that Nyetimber and Gusbourne especially, produce as good as or better 'champagne' than anything the French can, at a similar price.
