Hmmm...62% possession, 27 shots and...no goals. No revenge for bigmac...but hopefully it’s coming...this time next week would be handy.

Im certainly not too upset right now, massive change around at our club in the summer, an almost new squad, not much pre-season, new owners, new manager. Its going to take time.

Imagine what out internet forums would be like at this stage in 95/96, probably calling for Jim Smith to be sacked.

Yeah, and the Billy D season too to a degree

I do always think back to Smiths season, if the current rules on transfers applied what would have happened. The turning point was definitely stimac signing.

With the restrictions placed upon us it's becoming ever clearer that you can do a lot in the 'no bugger else wants them' market but there are limitations, picking up a 15 - 20 a season goal scorer being the most obvious!
Other clubs, who may have been expected to find a way out of this league pretty quickly (Sunderland, Wednesday, Ipswich et al), have all struggled and they did'nt have the same level of restrictions.
Nope, it's going to take time and that for me is why I'm quite happy to enjoy the ride. Plenty of bumps on the way but that will make it all the better when we beat all the obstacles that others have put in our way.
Our day will come.

6 weeks ago we all thought it was over and we didnt have a club, at best we looked like being taken over by a prat who couldnt even pay his few employers at his low emd company never mind fund a football club, it looked a disaster and a short term reprieve at best

6 weeks on we’re frustrated at not scoring from 27 shot attempts and drawing 0-0 again, forget who its against we are where we are its all relevant to me... its coming, someone is going to be picking that ball out their net numerous times soon.

We’re top 6 we just need to be patient
