I am sure we do not try and take so many risks inside our own box, it is just at this level and even at the very top, there are times when a good press will force you into those situations. It proved last season that the risk was outstripped by the reward. The acid test will be if we are good enough to play the same way this season.
I am not saying people should applaud the supposed, 'kamikaze' moments, more just to give applause as a way of keeping the morale high. It will reflect on us very badly as supporters, if after all the success and efforts of the team last season, they just are cast aside in the space of two or three games of this season.

Something I would like to bring to everyone's attention. Following feedback we received after the first to episodes of our new NCS Shorts podcast we have gone away and looked to improve accessibility in how these are delivered.
We now have a new layout with the audio player very visible at the top of the page along with an overview of what features on the podcast.
As well as that we have also added transcription of the episode at the bottom of the page. from here you can read what has been discussed but also jump from one presenters audio comments to another's again hopefully improving the overall accessibility and listener experience.
Can't thank everyone enough for the support we have had so far with the whole NCS project. We have provided a platform for aspiring journalists and writers but also provided a space for people who just want to put pen to paper on their own Notts County content.
Anyway, back to the NCS Shorts upgrades, check them out below and episode 3 will be up on Thursday!
