South Africa were awesome! No way England can live with them !
Looks like South Africa All Blacks final then.
Given the build up to this tournament, I think we have done well to reach the semis, all be it through a favourable draw. It will be interesting to see how we get on against the Boks.
Pleased the French are out, as they boo like spoilt kids at every slight decision that goes against them, and have sung the Marseilles, during most of the neutral games at some point during the match.
Not just a favourable draw, it completely opened up once Australia blobbed it.
I’m not getting carried away by this England side which is playing well within itself courtesy of having a front row battering ram as head coach. He is stifling us with kick and rush tactics. When we kick away possession next week SA will cut us to shreds
You don't surprise me one bit, 59, in view of your previous anti-Europe posts. The French were full of flair and guile and didn't depend on a 6 foot 9 inch animal crashing through the opponents ranks. Are you saying England fans would have behaved any differently? Jalibert was player of the tournament so far.
Grow up Sid, I can separate sport from politics. I cannot imagine England fans singing the national anthem during neutral games, and yes there would be some reaction to calls the crowd didn't like, but not what seems like petulant booing.
Do you get more points for flair play?
I am not suprised you stand up for the French given your anti English stance on politics.
Not really a rugby fan, but have been following developments with interest.
Seems to me England have somewhat over-achieved, aided by a favourable draw.
You would expect SA to win the semi easily, but you never know - maybe there's just a slight chance of an upset?
GROW UP? What kind of exhortation is that? What did I day that was immature? Does it make you feel like a sensible senior?
As for separating sport from politics, someone recently said 'Although we try to separate sport from politics, we should recognise the two are actually inseparable'.
How do you define politics? It is not just party politics. Politics is to do with power and status and exists in dressing rooms, work places and families.
Grow up, 1959, I'm older than you.
