If we start with the same system as we have for the last 4 games we'll get smashed!!!
We have to protect the full backs an play 5 at the back. 3 in midfield and 2 up front.
We'll not know who's trusted until kick-off and then if we start with 4 at the back expect an early change.
I agree with 3-5-2 formation, even though we are short of CBs if the WBs are encourgaed to push-on and get early crosses into 2 in the centre. I hope Taylor surprises us and has a go. I don't expect anything from tonight in terms of points, if we do then it will be a great achievement against a very good team. What we should expect is effort and giving it a go, working hard, high press and closing them down, do not give them time to play around or through us.
In memory of millertop I will do this…
Rotherham United v Ipswich Town
GRAHAM SCOTT
Wade Smith and Nick Greenhalgh
Fourth Official : Rebecca Welch
Although I haven’t got time to find stats like he had..🤣..suffice to say it will be stop start with mr Scott in charge that I do know..!.
Pocket, the difference is that Frecks always wanted to play for us whether he was injured or not.
What we have now is a collection of sicknotes on short contracts who immediately cry off when they "feel a bit of tightness."
Any manager would want a player like Frecks in his team but I'm not too sure about many of the present lot.
Anyway I admire your confidence predicting a 2-1 win........but then again I've never known you say anything else 🙂. UTM.
Heliospan, that's a very interesting and bold line up and formation. Thing is Taylor isn't brave enough to even contemplate it.
If only he went for something like this, then at least he will have showed he's tried but currently he's not prepared to. It's his way or no way.
