The results we’ve had recently due to injuries will have provided a massive eye opener for our owners. The silver lining on a dark cloud.

Eddie has some tough decisions to make if we are to challenge next season,and this. Does he drop Trippier who is now 33 and having a mare. If yes and he plays Livs at right back his normal position, who plays left back? He clearly doesn’t fancy Hall yet, so do we need an experienced, left back until halls ready? Can Isakk last a full season, that’s a definite no,so we need another CF,maybe 2. How long can Schar carry on, he’s 33, Burns 33, Popes 32? We need to start the recruitment drive in January if we want to qualify top 4 again. I’m feeling really flat after tonight, suppose we will have less game now, get players back and go on a run after Xmas. Oh what the hell it’s just a game ffs

To all of your questions: yes.

This is why it takes several seasons to build a good squad even if your recruiting is spot on.

Dan Burn is 31.
Fab Schär is 32.
Nick Pope is 31.

They have a lot of good years left in them. Especially Pope I would imagine. The rest are fantastic squad players when we get around to bring in an even higher standard of players to the first team.

Squad players. Whether they are 31,32,or 33, they’re getting on and more prone to injuries, Trippier is 33,34 NB. It’s a pity all of them are not in their mid 20s, problem solved!

Barkely is decent, and had a great game today, but we should be aiming higher.

We need a pacey AND productive winger too. Getting tired of wathcing Miggy now.

I watched several Luton games this season. Hes a fantastic midfielder, finally fullfilling hes potential.

I doubt you can find a better CM for the short term.

But a winger and a proper striker is more important. Both need to have blistering pace.

Two attackers who can play right side needed bit most of all an end to our terrible bad luck with injuries.
We miss Joelinton badly.
