And then we go blaming a ref who will no doubt ref at least another cple of our games this season.🙄

Aberdeen assured their was nothing wrong with pitch
There evidently was unless groundsmen generally sweep water from goalmouths at 2.10.
I think it looked borderline but why not be proactive......with ref and conditions......looks like we weren't
The manager wud, Aberdeen had a few out and a lot of games, their managers jacket on a shoogly peg and a great chance to get in top 6..........he and the team have been let down by Dundees lax pre match attitude........any rain puts Dens in doubt.
We didn't get inspection, we told Aberdeen no doubt, we let 3000 away fans travel and hundreds of home fans travel a fair distance......the ref rightly or wrongly calls game off 20 mins after arriving.........so there must have been at least SOME doubt.....as their was NO DOUBT in refs mind.......why take the risk?
Groundsmen brushing water off the park 3/4 of an hour before KO is such an unprofessional look.
And I'd say a wee bit silly to train on park......especially if Celtic game goes off.
Linda long story can't be arsed telling it again
Ask Deeranged
And Barry Robson thought game shud be off and Willie Miller and Burrows all but blames DFC.
So if it's a mixed opinion between so many people and Dens Parks inability to cope with any drizzle there must have been SOME doubt.
Ok
Aberdeen haven't played a lot of games
Robson job safe as houses.
It wasn't a chance to get in top 6
Dens handles water like the hoover dam.
We did get an inspection.
We told Aberdeen woooahh guys gemme might be aff.
Ref was at ground at noon and pondered for 2 hours plus
Groundsman brushing water aff park looks ace
And training on a park that's just been called off for flooding with another game in 3 days is the correct procedure.
And Linda should be called sir Nelmsy.
😆
Ref turned up at 1.40 then went out to look at pitch 15 minutes later. That’s a fact. Drainage certainly a problem. What’s the groundsmen supposed to do?
Aberdeen, Robson, total irrelevance.
Game should have been on.
I was already at Dens, but feel for all supporters with a long journey.
The thing I can't get my head around today is the folk saying it was only drizzle?? Firstly on way to Dens today I passed areas where there were massive areas of water on the road and park areas under water. It was battering down most of the night. Rainfall in our area is way above normal this year and a higher increase above 'normal' than any other area in Scotland. Official Rainfall for the last 24 hours measured at the two Dundee sites Baluniefield and Mylnefield was a fraction short of 20mm or about four fifths of an inch. Historically Dundee's annual rainfall has been 28/29 inches or about 700 mm. We therefore had one thirty fifth of our annual rainfall in about 12 hours (maybe better described as a third of a 'normal' month's rain overnight) because it wasn't raining at the start of the 24 hour period. Yes our drainage isn't as it was, not up to scratch definitely but that's not the whole story. A substantial amount of rain fell in our area, way more than "drizzle" onto already saturated ground from a lengthy period of more than average rainfall.
Imo its time to cut the club a bit of slack or is that beyond those with an agenda against them?
