I'm not sure, but he may have four years left on his contract, I don't think they're even considering replacing him, but if they were they might come to the conclusion they couldn't afford to, it certainly wouldn't have been budgeted for.

No business plan is set in stone. It has to adapt. It may well be that ALK has adjusted the plan to accommodate a relegation then a possible return to the PL.
I for one would prefer us to be in the Champioship with no VAR than being in the PL.
