Perhaps our recruitment policy is not that bad after all? B)

It was generally believed that Esteve is staying regardless of what Division we are playing in next season and Assignon only stays if we retain our Premier league status.
But thought we had already tied up the PSV rightback Shurandy Sambo on a pre-contract for next season.?
With Odobert on a contract till 2028 , it will take an offer much bigger than the 11M we paid to take him away.
If we are building a team for the future and we have a 5 year plan why are we signing players with relegation release clauses? If we keep losing our best players at the end of every season we are going nowhere as this season has shown.
The BIG problem for us is if we go down, our revenues will fall by around 50% and we will HAVE to sell to balance the books.
No other options I'm afraid to say.

Providing he doesn't have a relegation release clause for a certain value.
Some players may be willing to sign up to that, but others won't. Dropping down a level, dropping wages, potentially harming international call-ups etc. It's likely part of the negotiation in convincing them to come here.
Posted again because it was not opening on my other post.

Yes valid point but don't believe he will have although if he did , I'd be confident it would be financially advantages for us.
