. I can believe those figures because just before my mum passed away a mystery person came and asked her who she voted for in the referendum. It was unbelievable.

Brexit was watered down to such an extent that any potential benefits were prevented. This is how the Left operate.
But Remainers continue to spout about the damage Brexit has done - without ever quantifying those statements.
Agree 100%
And theyre still moanin - I'd vote same again 2 morra
Then there's WW2
Would we have been better off if the Germans had won?
I didn't vote buddy. Paranoia's hitting harder than it should there, and you're mistaking conversation as some sort of attack.
I'm merely asking for clarity on how 'the left' managed to water anything down. I appreciate it's confusing, being asked to elaborate on your point, but consider others may be equally confused when we've had a right wing government for 14 years, and the Brexit vote spun out of pressure from another right wing group. Ignore the second question if you genuinely think there are no benefits from Brexit.
You don't have to answer anything, 'waste your breath', or do anything you don't wish to do... but consider that failing to make your assertion make sense doesn't do much beyond implying it's illogical.
I think appetite has waned due the Ukraine invasion to be honest.
I don't how many people on here do business in Europe. People I have links with in France, Germany and Poland are saying it's particularly tough. Been saying it all year.
Brexit was never given the light of day by our Westminster politicians. They made a right mess of it.
Paperwork for importing goods has been a pain.
The EU hasn't had it easy. It's a myth to suggest otherwise.
Thoughts for the day.

I do quite a lot of exporting - mainly during the winter months to the EU. Its a small inconvienience to have an extra form to complete but nothing too onerous. As for the European economy, it is very tough - I can tell both in terms of sales to and purchasing from, things are probably the worst they have been since 2007.
You are absolutely correct that Brexit wasnt given the light of day - a majority stepped forward but politicians had to spend the majority of their time appeasing the remainers because of the woke agenda. Forced to surpress their views otherwise they would be condemed as racist. The true fact is, the EU didnt really progress anything since its conception but dont let that get in the way of a good old fashion left agenda.
