Paid for being biased - not only 'for' F***** and Spuds and Newcastle, but notably 'against' Notts and Arsenal. Anyone wanting to remind themselves what an absolute tool the guy was, and apparently still is, should dig out his co-comments from our embarrassment against Salford City Reds. When we were at our lowest ebb he just couldn't resist sticking the boot in.

If he's gone the full Huw Edwards (and nobody is suggesting he has btw) then I hope he's hung out to dry.

Of course, it was about the Salford match, he was asked before the game if he had a soft spot for Notts, coming from Nottingham and he said they meant nothing to him, which isn't even true, he actively dislikes us. In another part of the Multiverse his name's Marlon and he comes from Clifton. An absolute bell-end with no talent appointed to tick boxes, ones that have already been ticked anyway by other people with more talent and personality.

I’m not sure anyone is petty enough to dislike a player because they played for the reds, in general footballers are disliked for their behaviour on or off the pitch.

That's correct. Him disliking us is fine in private, but he never disguised it whenever he was commenting on our games.
