Disappointed not to win but a draw a decent result, felt we didn't play well, Kenzo not himself but good for Brown to get his goal, feel he looks like he has potential
Never unhappy with a draw after being 1 down.
Even for 15, then they got the upper hand, then we got back into it. 0-0 at HT was about right. I thought they had the better of the 2nd half and them taking the lead was no great surprise.
I've said, in previous seasons, that I'm not happy with the backing off that allows opposition players to run 50, 60 70 yards with the ball, well into our defensive third, without a challenge being made. It still gives me the willies. Saw too much of it yesterday for my liking.
Overall, a draw was a decent enough result for both sides.
Kenzo had, for the first time this season, a poorish game. Nobody's going to be good every game. Here's to an improvement back to his usual standard, starting at Stoke next Saturday.
PS - chuffed for Daj Brown. Finally given a half an hour rather than a few minutes and he comes up with the goods. Hopefully the knock he took is just that and nothing to keep him out for a couple of weeks.
You can't get much more midtable than this...
12th of 24
4 points off the playoff places
4 points clear of the drop zone
We aren't pulling any trees up, but I'd have happily taken this position after 12 games.
This season was always about consolidation, stay up and push on.
Nearly 30000 fans again is excellent.
3 draws on the bounce would suggest we are making it tough for other teams but lacking the zing to nick a win.
Stokies and The Sky Blues to come, both of which will be tough. Whilst I would normally have taken two draws I think we need a win from one of these to maintain confidence and keep any threat of a wobble nailed down.
Spot on. Prior to the Millwall match I was hoping for and expecting at least five points from Millwall, Oxford and Hull.
Doubt we’ll get more than 2 at best out of Stoke and Coventry which will put the pressure on for Rooney’s return.
Still at least we’ve proved in the last two that we can overturn a deficit and having another goal scoring threat in Brown can only be good.
