Unfortunately, many of our colleges here stateside have become propaganda centers with very little independent learning, problem solving or innovation. Some of our best and brightest don't even attend anymore. They head straight to silicone valley or other areas of advanced development. However, don't worry, they have their tax free status and endowments worth billions of dollars.



Didn't oxford beat us a while back in the cup? Maybe the early MB days? Not sure of that.

Never been across the pond but understand the massive differences in land and development. I know that the concept of a large space of land in England is way different and just how valuable it is to you.

Look up bona vacantia - it?s a Latin phrase that describes how the state in the UK takes property back where people die without a will and with known relatives.

I think St John?s college in Oxford due to land ownership but closely followed by Magdalen (pronounced Maudlyn - just to confuse the ?commoners?)

I remember they beat us in FA Cup in 9ts at ER after drawing away. They also beat us in lge on occasion Aldridge and Houghton used to play for them, didn?t they get to League Cup Final.

M Smith play for them I think he scored and they beat us.
