You have to earn your place back in - how can you put out the keeper that has kept 4 clean sheets in 5 games and only conceded once in those 5 games.
Also this stat:

I think Pope is the best shot stopping GK in England even with Alison. There again hes the worst with his feet I can think of.
I find it strange he cant improve this part of his game, training every week.
No way Dubs should be dropped when Popes fit and Eddie wont do that, Im sure.

So would I, but if dubs is leaving we only have the Greek, the dubs business is puzzling me. He was visibly upset last night with the fans so why is he leaving? Surely he could hang on till the end of the season and potentially play in a cup final? Or is he being forced out so we get a fee? Does he want to go because he knows once Popes fit he will be back on the bench? I?m surprised we are actually selling him the position we?re in, I expect they have a replacement all done and dusted, surely! Will be sorry to see dubs go, a last hurrah at Wembley would have been a great signing off especially if we manage to win it!Quote:

But Dubs inclusion in the starting 11 has seen an uptick in form for us, you can see the confidence in passing out from the back across the back 4 has improved, knowing they have a man behind them they can call on if they need it to go back and start again.
I?d much prefer to keep him for the season, let him have his choice of clubs in the summer? he deserves that, and we need him.
