Guys injuries aside, we have TEN recognised wingers on our books, why does Parker insist on playing Foster on the wing? :confused:

Alls not lost but the trick was to get a forward - target man and we failed badly at it.
I watched the extended highlights just now for about the fifth time. If Josh Brownhill had been playing it would have been game over after thirty minutes. It's no point getting over reliant on Foster because he just ain't good enough. :mad:
He needs a run at centre forward and then if he does nothing over several games I?d agree with you all , we?ve shot his confidence asking him to play wide he?s a forward who missed a chance last night but you lot are all over that - the one he curled in the bottom corner was v good no one?s mentioned that though. Foster narrows play all the time as he comes back to the full back for the ball at his feet - he?s less comfortable going into the space asking for it in a channel ( he did make that run a few time s though and it nearly paid off ).
However Egan Riley is the only man who wants to encourage foster or others to go into that space without the ball - the midfield would simply rather pass it back eventually to Cullen who orchestrates everything and inevitably it ends up back with Trafford and the process starts again.
He seems to be physically fit and got his head sorted out too. Play him at centre-forward with Flemming or Brownhill in the hole behind with two wingers and see how he goes. I'll try anything to score a goal or two.Quote:
