JOB seemed to be a fit for this sort of role too but it wasn't to be. I think these days the considerations are different and a wider pool of talent is looked at. I'd be surprised to be honest. Shame on both counts as passion for the club leaks out to the fans too.

I think he?s fantastic but on the flipside for me it does depend on what realistically he wants wages wise next season. I know he?s certainly not greedy as he could have got double to stay on at Derby.
Minus a bad injury in the final weeks of the season, I think a playing contract for McGoldrick, regardless of what league we are in next season, is a no-brainer.

Being the 5th top goal scorer in league two with 14 goals in 29 appearances including 3 assists says it all for me. Even if being conservative he played for max 25 games next season that could still be double figures in goals based on this seasons ratio.
His experience, inspiration for the younger players who come in and those in our youth system would be worth it. His age should not be an obstacle in my opinion.
