Did we win it despite him? Or did he make a contribution same as every other player?

I was trying to show that managers select players as substitutes when they have no intention of using them as a substitute. Instead they are sitting on the subs bench to make up the numbers. I also think that it is crazy having two goalkeepers sitting on the subs bench.
There is no requirement to list a full bench of subs. A team can list only 3 or 4 if they want. There is therefore no sense in listing players ?with no intention of using them as a substitute?. If the manager had no intention of fielding a player he would surely simply not list him at all.
I think a player, any player in our team, should be supported. I know it isn't fashionable but I think every player should be encouraged, all the time.
If you want to pick on someone the officials and the opposition seem to me to be far bigger and better targets than giving our players pelters.
Cammy Kerr, CW33, Finn, are just recent examples of players who I think we have let down with our failure to encourage them, all the time.
Of course, jdfc, you are entitled to your view, a view often expressed on football forums. I think that any player wearing our team colours should be supported, all the time.
[QUOTE=BCram;40705548]Hearts away he subbed Seb in 27 minutes and put on Fin Robertson. We won that match?[/QUOTE
It was in the second half, definitely not after 27 minutes.
