Woodgate was good but wasn't around long enough IMO. I'd say Schar is one of our best CBs with special mention to Kilcline, Albert and Colo towards the end. I sure Bill remembers some good old timers before my time who could be up there.

I'm not taking away from any of the lads you've mentioned. Schar, bargain of the century. Kilcline, a cult icon who personifies the a transitional period of our history and will never be forgotten.

Albert redefined what a CB was for me, I'd never seen anything like it! He was decades ahead of his time!

Botman, at his age, has the potential go on to be the CB that secures a Premier League title for us. He is that good.

Aye, a fit Botman is an exciting prospect. I have no doubt he will be next on the rumour mill forva transfer once he shows the PL what he is about. Just needs those games under the belt.

Rice and a few others are back in training so not so beneficial for us.

They certainly won't be in top gear that's for sure.

Also, psychology, they're quite clearly not dialed in and focused. Essentially there season was over when the whistle blew against PSG.

They have nothing to play for other than pride. It's a very good time to play them. We need to do our best but we can beat them.
