Think this would look good on either a white background - Real Madrid? Or as someone said, purple - or the dark maroon that Arsenal wore for a season during the Thierry Henry years (someone mentioned this a while back)

Saw, I recall that one. Thing is I don't want us to be losing 5-0 away from home and Hammy says that because of the colour, the players couldn't make their mates out against the crowd .......classic of Fergies that one never to be forgotten XD

I'd like to see us play the first home game in a charity gold/ black vee shirt. Maybe keep it as the change strip. The red/ white sleeves kit could have a nod to our most successful era with hooped socks. A bit radical for some, I know.
