It always felt like he was being signed because of his pressing game rather than his abilities as a striker, but he never stayed fit long enough to make an impact. Was it one goal he scored for us? I imagine he’ll find a club in the National League, but no higher.Quote:

Was never really able to stake a claim for a first team place or have a decent run in the side during his time here with Langstaff, Didzy and then Jatta holding down places.
Not all signings work out so it?s probably for the best for both parties as JM can go and find somewhere we he will be able to play regular football week in and week out. More clearing of the decks from the clubs perspective to move forward under the new head coach when they arrive.
Yeah good luck to him too never got a chance when we were crying out for something anything a bit different the last few games.
I hope he goes on and finds is form with another club.
Strange we have had a clear out without a new Coach in place unless its all tied up and he's told them who he wants and dosen't want.

The way it normally works, assuming he's on a lower wage with his new club is as follows:
Assume ?1k per week at Notts, ?750 per week at the new club
Notts would pay 1000 - 750 = ?250 per week for the remainder of what would have been his contract, works for both parties.
Never given a decent run in the side even when we were short, highly thought of whatever he played so maybe we missed a trick...Good luck to the guy
