Mums second, as my brother has a 3 year old. Been hard on her as he lived & worked in Moscow, so sanctions made no direct visits possible. Tho currently now with his family in Dresden Germany working remote as its gotta decent dynamic tech & startup scene, so a major hub for entrepreneurship & innovation going on keeping him busy, so family visits now easier for all.
He could of gone anywhere, ruled UK out as visa conditions are very tough & Germany offered higher living standards with a supportive work-life balance, too, so at 35 he needed to be settled as hes lived in Paris France & Belgrade Serbia after leaving Leeds uni.
Been tough on my Gran too who I am very close to, but she will be right at my side with Mum at hospital next week as my early admission ensures monitoring & intervention to protect me & my babys health well-being due to my health history.
So alls good & I feel good physically & mentally & have some great professionals looking after me. At 39 now, its been a long road & hard slog getting to this point but its always what I really wanted, end of. 😊
