Apart from NA’s qualities as a person, I’m not sure I’ve praised him? I do think there should be balance and context added to the discussion.

I haven’t got the energy or will power to challenge the points you raised and you’re incapable of having a calm reasonable debate. Where’s that block button!?

I was of the view that NA would not get us promoted. However, since he has thankfully gone and we appear to have green shoots under IB, can we please just agree to disagree re NA. My life is getting shorter and surely we can move on from this?

Who gives a rats arse about NA qualities as a person, all talk and no go, his job as a football manager is to win matches, improve the position of the club, in which he failed miserably

I was pro Ardley because I am pro Notts. To what extent I was pro, is not black and white(no pun intended).

Its an interesting point all together though Killerline, i totally agree NA was a good decent man, shown in his parting statement, but that does not equal a good manager

Good managers often have a bit of an edge to them, they are not there to be liked, but to win matches, examples Warnock, Clough, Alladyce, mourino , and evans to name a few , they are normally only liked by their own fans
