Chalky’s back for who knows how long so I’ve totted up his EOB points (16) and added them to what he had on 16th November when I took him off the table (60). He was 11th then.

A decent week for some, and a mention in dispatches for Blackdogblue who got 9 results correct. Shame there wasn’t a correct score, which meant that Howoldboy, who got two, top-scored with 10 points. Well done, that’s good consistent scoring week on week. Down the other end was Tricky who only got 2. Just when he was challenging for the top spot too. Average score was 6.3.

Biggest mover was Davee, down three places. Going the other way were Mullen and Cayambe, both up two. Welcome back Chalky and Blackdogblue who are having their own little battle and both scored well this week. Chalky has some work to do though.

Anyway, we’re not even half-way through this little battle so anything could happen.All up to you.

For anyone who missed the sad news during the week, our friend Altobelli passed away a few days ago. He will be kept in the table as a mark of respect. Rest in peace mate.

Howoldboy seems to have hit his stride with finding the correct score - another couple this week - keeping his points up and widening his lead at the top. I feel another bout of research coming on. He wasn’t top-scorer though, good grief NO, that accolade went to Claw who seems to be putting a challenge together from mid-table. Good luck and well done.
Blackdogblue’s challenge this week was to pull clear of Chalky but that didn’t go well as he only managed 3. I’ll let him off in the circumstances.

Few changes to the table, only the odd position up and down, and the average score was 6. Consistently beating the average is the trick but learning it might have come too late for some of us. Next week finds us at the half-way point though so still time.
