I think what roly was asking was how can even the hardest Brexiteer get No Deal through parliament? The majority of the house are against it, reflecting the fact that the majority of the public are against it. So how can a Boris etc get it through?

And even if they could, is it democratic to force through an action that the majority of the country don't want?

He doesn't have to 'get it through' Parliament. It remains the default position. The better question is how the remain minded MPs can secure a revocation of Article 50, which is probably the only way that no deal can be avoided now.

Didn't the majority of the country vote to leave without any mention of a deal on the ballot paper & it's arguments like this that you & the Soubry's of this world propound together with a PM that couldn't negotiate her way out of a wet paper bag have served to get us in this position
She & her ilk don't accept the democratic will of the electorate & have relentlessly conspired through arguments that your latest post exemplifies & which results in the UK continuing to pay into project EU at the rate of £1 billion per month, that will be £7 billion by Halloween

It was, but Parliament instructed May to ask for an extension, she did so and the EU27 unanimously allowed one.

May will be replaced by a Leaver who will either not act on any further 'instruction' from Parliament or who will do so in a way that makes refusal inevitable, if it isn't already, given the views of French and Spanish in particular.

Good grief. Ok. I will ask the question. When you say we 'set our own tariffs'. This is in reference to trading under wto terms. Do you mean that if we set one rate of tariffs with (say) Australia we have the flexibility to set totally different tariff rates for Canada?

I thought the extension that May was instructed to seek was until 30 June 2019

I believe that was the extension that May asked for. The EU saw little point in that and gave a longer extension.

So what you are saying is the majority of the country want the NHS run off its feet? The majority of the country want food banks springing up all over the place because the majority of the country wanted benefit cut for children? I could go on and on but I wont because just those two examples must show you that if you believe what you have posted then you have no idea about politics.
