This has been the problem all season. Every 6th game or so, we throw an absolute stinker in for no reason whatsoever.

Burchnall interview

Said the same thing to my Dad this week, flat track bullies. As soon as we play someone decent or fight then we go missing. Absolute crap to have the 14th best record away for a team meant to be challenging for the top spot before the season starts. He can do one for me, I'd rather go up than play good football in patches but overall not good enough when it counts.
Only way I can see Notts going up now is if Stockport bottle it and suffer a hangover in the play offs.
They are currently 1-0 down at home to Boreham Wood.
That's the most worrying interview I've heard from IB.
To summarise, we didn't implement 'Plan A' well enough and the opposition made it difficult.
No, Mr Burchnall.
Plan A - your plan - didn't work, again. You used the same naive overplaying tactics and odd team selections that have seen us lose several other away games, and a very mediocre opposition took full advantage.
If IB can't be honest with himself and see and acknowledge his mistakes, then it's difficult to see how we're going to learn and improve away from home.
PS. Where's the passion and anger in that interview? He sounds like someone describing a mildly disappointing salad!
There is something badly wrong when the squad has basically been together since pre season played 40 odd games up near the top but put in dire performances all too often. Once in a blue moon you can accept but not as often as Notts put out. For gawds sake, your suppose to have confidence when up near the top
